Child and Youth Advocacy Centres of Canada (CYACC) is the national association supporting the development, growth, and impact of Child and Youth Advocacy Centres (CYACs) across the country.

Child & Youth Advocacy Centres (CYACs) provide a co-ordinated, multidisciplinary approach in a safe, comfortable environment to address the needs of children, youth and their families.

What We Do

  • Support CYACs at all stages—from early planning to long-term sustainability.
  • Facilitate collaboration among national and regional partners.
  • Develop and share resources tailored to the unique needs of CYACs.
  • Advocate for equitable access, sustainable funding, and improved systems of support.
  • Build awareness of the CYAC model and its impact on children, youth, and families.

Our Vision

All children and youth impacted by abuse in Canada have access to the services and supports provided by a CYAC model that are of the highest quality and aligned with evidence-informed best practice.
